This spring, step away from the demands of everyday life and slip into a warm, welcoming creative sanctuary. Our Spring Writing Retreat is designed to help you reconnect with your craft, deepen your focus, and rediscover the joy in your writing — all surrounded by the blooming landscapes and quiet charm of the Texas Hill Country.
With sweeping floral views, peaceful walking trails, and golden spring light filtering through the trees, Marble Falls provides the perfect backdrop for inspiration, rest, and creative renewal. Settle in with your notebook on a veranda, write beneath the oaks, or share stories under the stars with fellow writers who understand your love for words, imagination, and community.
What to Expect
Each day offers a thoughtfully balanced blend of solo writing time, optional group sessions, and restorative moments to breathe and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re drafting a novel, polishing essays, exploring poetry, or simply trying to find your voice again, this retreat is here to support you.

A Day in the Life of a Story Sirens Retreater
Begin your morning with gentle, optional yoga followed by a nourishing breakfast. The day unfolds with inspiring workshops, hours of peaceful writing time, and a relaxed atmosphere where you’re free to work in whatever space calls to you. Evenings bring everyone together for delicious shared meals, meaningful conversations, and creative camaraderie.
All meals are prepared onsite and included in your retreat fee. Snacks, coffee, tea, and soda are available 24/7 so you’re always fueled and focused.
All writing activities are optional — we want you to choose what best supports your creativity. That said, we encourage retreaters to challenge themselves with at least one new activity or exercise for fresh perspective and growth.
Who It’s For
Writers of all genres and experience levels are welcome. Although the retreat leans fiction-forward, we’ve hosted poets, memoirists, nonfiction writers, playwrights, and more. If you’re looking for a judgment-free creative space to write, share, learn, and grow, this retreat is for you.
Lodging & Cost
Cost: $800 per person
Deposit: $250 to reserve your spot (applied toward the total)
Accommodations:
A mix of spacious bunk rooms and a small number of private rooms (first come, first served for an additional fee).
The Marble Falls property features cozy writing nooks, comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces, and plenty of room to spread out, settle in, and let your creativity lead.
